Road Poneglyphs
The four keys that unlock the map to the world's greatest treasure.
Road Poneglyphs are four massive, indestructible stone tablets that serve as the ultimate navigational keys to the legendary final island of the Grand Line. Unlike standard Poneglyphs which contain historical records or warnings, these specific artifacts emit a unique magnetic signature capable of guiding ships through the treacherous waters surrounding Laugh Tale. Each tablet must be located and its coordinates recorded by a skilled reader before they can be combined to reveal the path forward.

Lore & Background
The stones themselves are unbreakable; no weapon or devil fruit ability has ever managed to scratch their surface. They rely on an ancient magnetic field that points toward the final island, but this signal is useless without the precise coordinates inscribed upon them. Because only a handful of people in history have possessed the ability to read the ancient script carved into these stones, finding the physical tablets is only half the battle; interpreting their message requires a lineage of knowledge that has nearly been extinguished by time and war.
In Their Own Story
The sea around Fish-Man Island churned with unnatural turbulence as the Straw Hat crew approached the hidden fortress. Inside the dimly lit vault, the massive stone stood silent, humming with a low vibration that rattled the teeth of everyone present. Nami traced her fingers over the glowing, indestructible surface, feeling the weight of centuries pressing down on her palm. 'It's real,' she whispered, her voice trembling not from fear, but from the sheer magnitude of what lay ahead. The coordinates were recorded in a small notebook, a tiny scrap of paper holding the power to change the world forever.
Reader's Guide
The Road Poneglyphs function as the only navigational tools capable of charting a course to Laugh Tale, the final island of the Grand Line. Unlike standard maps or Log Poses, which rely on magnetic anomalies that shift unpredictably in the New World, these stones provide fixed coordinates that lead directly through the Calm Belt and into the dangerous waters surrounding the last landmass.
To utilize them effectively, a pirate crew must first locate all four tablets scattered across the Red Line's cardinal points. Once found, they cannot be moved or carried; instead, a scholar capable of reading the Ancient Script must decipher the coordinates inscribed upon each stone and transcribe them onto a map. Without this transcription process, the stones remain silent monuments to history.
Currently, only four individuals are known to possess the ability to read these texts: Big Mom, Kaido (formerly), Shanks, and Dr. Vegapunk's research team, alongside the ancient lineage of the Ryugu Kingdom. This scarcity makes every Road Poneglyph a prize worth waging war over, as possessing even one grants a fraction of the knowledge needed to reach the One Piece.
